His vocals sound than better than on Elephant by The White Stipes. I can be in for a good album. Just the backing vocals in the chorus don't amuse on this one.

 

NIN - Even Deeper

 

Fickle Friends - Glue
Catchy, but too simple. I prefer Against The Current to this by far. Lacks some substance and I've listened to better vocalists, she doesn't feel the songs like Molly Rankin of Alvvays, Chrissy Costanza of Against The Current, Kacey Musgraves or Julien Baker. just to name a few. It's also too electronic.

What? they're completely different as the people you listed. you can't really compared them like that tbh.
Fickle Friends was always an 80s throwback synthpop band who are focusing strongly on the production and the energetic of their songs not the vocals (even though I think Natti's voice is amazing). and imo they are the best who make this kind of music right now, even way better than CHVRCHES. their whole album is just amazing from start to finish imo.

 

tHE oFFSPRING - tHE kIDS aRENT aLRIGHT

 

I compared the vocals, all those vocalists sound better to me. Anyway, I found the first two songs bland and now, 10 songs in those first two are the worst to me and I'm quite impressed by the others. Really enjoy songs like Swim, Bite, Lovesick, Say No More, Heartbroken, In My Head and Rotation. Swim, Rotation and Lovesick must be my favorites. They must be leveled with CHVRCHES when we compare it with the new songs, if cmpared to EOE, CHVRCHES wins clearly. At least they use some drums and guitar here and there, which CHVRCHES doesn't.

Fickle Friends - Brooklyn
Until now I only didn't like Glue, Wake Me Up and Hello Hello. Maybe after 5 or 6 listens I'll be able to enjoy all songs. I'd give it a 7,5 or 8 at best until now. This Brooklyn track is quite good. Apparently I'd give it the same score that ARTV gave it.

Arch Enemy - Reason To Believe
Songs like this would make for a great band, but they seem to fall short when it comes to albums. Such a waste of talent.
