I should check it out. Their first album I listened to, Mothership, was good, but I didn't give it many listens, it somehow didn't strike me, and after that I found BMTH, so I doubt I'll find a better Metalcore band.

CHVRCHES album will be released on May 25th. I'm glad I'll be seeing them live in July, but I need to catch up with QOTSA discography and also The National for that festival day.

30 Seconds to Mars ft. Halsey- Love Is Madness

People will hate on this album but 6 songs in and this album is great to me. It's not the same 30STM, it never will be, but that doesn't mean it can't be good.

 

Dance Gavin Dance - Midnight Crusade

Yeah it's a similar situation to OML last year. and the singles are actually the worst songs imo, the other songs are really good.
My favorites are: Love is Madness, Rider, Great Wide Open and Dawn Will Rise.

 

30 Seconds to Mars- Hail to the Victor

I agree, it will be similar to any time a band changes. People want rock from them so I understand the hate but the songs are good to me. I'm on Hail to the Victor currently and so far Walk on Water is the weakest song on the album, which is a very good thing. I think it's the only song that's "bad" so far and even then it's a catchy song

 

I actually liked The Kill (Bury Me), Closer To The Edge and This Is War back in the day, but haven't given them any listen on any full album because the singles don't get me hyped for the albums, the same happened this time. The problems with the singles have been hapening to other bands and artists like Muse, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, Breaking Benjamin, Nickelback (everyone seems to hate them anyway), it even happened with LP and I fear this tendency will go on since we're going through some tough times.

Echosmith - Over My Head
If the album goes like this through and through it will be one of my favorites this year.
