Pts of Athrty

I have been thinking of this for a long time. Points of Authority was not released but Pts of Athrty was. Does it mean that its better? Post your views here??


Personally I like the remix. Its more alive but its nothing compared to a live performance of the original.

Points of Authority WAS released. It was a live video. I've seen it.

 

It depends on which mood I'm in. Sometimes I'm in the mood for the original, and sometimes the remix.

 

But it's an European single only .

I prefer an hybrid of the two. They all have good and less good elements .

 

Yes..it was released.....if im not mistaken there were two versions of the video..... but..Me personally, I prefer the demo and the crystal method remix over them all..

 

It wasn't a single. No promo (for radio), no retail (a cd single you can buy in stores or online like amazon.com), only a video (which was mostly shown on International TV, but has been on Fuse's Loaded).

i only saw the poa video on the dvd whats the other version, not the animated one?

 

Points Of Authority = Frat Party DVD
Pts.Of.Athrty = Reanimation DVD, CG Animation one
Pts.Of.Athrty (Version 2) = Reanimation MTV2 Special. You probably haven't seen this one.

 

I prefer Pts.Of.Athrty cuz it's more rock

 

I don't know which one I like better... they are both really awesome.

 

i agre, but i do like th remix quit a bit, like when it goes in tot h vhorus and the drums and beats go crazy lol

 

the remix is better, cos when u get to the bridge
(the bit that goes "the sun goes down")
the guitar bit is amazing and should have been put on the one that was actually released.

Points of Authority is my 3rd favorite LP song. The original is better, IMO.

 

The reanimation sounds so much cooler and the bass is wicked sweet.

 

I like the original more, and what Joe does at the end is awesome.
