Intro is fabulous, but as to the other songs including this it's all the same with all the melodies eing very similar. The lead siger sounds very similar all the time as well. I could buy their debut album, though. It's a band to look to if someone is focusing on instrumentation rather than vocals, which is mostly not the case with me. Instrumentally perfect this album, anyway.

Chelsea Wolfe - Static Hum
Looking back at her new album, I think it's better than I had thought upon the first listen months ago. Very raw doom metal seems to suit her as well and it's a valid way for her to experiment with her inner darkness. She sings differently as well and on this song it's noticeable and it's of the best in the entire record. She could go back to the wayshe sang on Feral Love or Demons, though, but she can't leave the darkness she seems to dwell in. There's still some folk in the album, but not as much.
