The band isn't good, but you all know they've had a pretty successful career ever since they've adopted that 'even whiter-trash Motley Crue' gimmick change like a decade ago, right? Terrible or otherwise they had adapted quite well after 2001 nu metal.
I am actually quite impressed by this album, even though I'm not (yet) a fan of the band. Several standout tracks that sound distinct from one another, while a few songs play it safe and are by-the-numbers rock/hard rock anthems. I did get the Deluxe Edition, so I have three bonus tracks and many live tracks I still have yet to listen to. They should be a good way to give me a taste of what each previous Papa Roach album is like, without having to listen to all of them individually.
I could take a look, but I never found Papa Roach lead singer´s voice anything special, if not annoying. If speaking of bands from that time, I prefer Nickelback a lot more, even though for me their new album is quite weak when compared to All The Right Reasons, Dark Horse and Here and Now.
