i just saw this movie, and let me say this : IT KICKS ASS! the movie itself is 3 hours long, and about 1.5 hours of that is all action and fighting, it's so great. there are way less boring scenes in TTT than TFOTR, which makes it so much more interesting. i'm not going to elaborate on details, seeing that they may ruin the movie for you, but go see this movie even if you haven't read the books (like me) or don't like fantasy (like me). you will not regret it.
i wont see it unless you tie me into the chair and put a loaded gun to my head. i cant stand that whole genre of books/movies
what dont you like about at, it has a great story line, the fighting scenes are awesome, and the special effects are perfect
Legolas is perfect too... I went to see it yesterday and I loved it...I'm going again with a few friends this saturday, hehheh...they claim that it's going to be a special outing...I don't like the sound of it one bit...
i kept saying i hated "fantasy" until i saw the first LOTR movie. i fell in love with the movie and the two towers was even better. i still haven't read any fanatsy books, and i don't intend to, nor have i watched any different fantasy movies, again i don't intend to. i strongly suggest you see this movie, not just because it's fantasy, but tthe fight scenes just kick ass.
According to all my friends who've seen it already, it's going to suck really bad because it stops following the book exactly. Apparently, in the forest, Faramir takes Frodo and Sam to Gondor; in the book they just went back to the forest. Now, I won't see the movie until Saturday to be sure, so I'll let you know just how accurate-to-book it is, because that's what makes these movies so good — the fact that they were based off of the books. Fellowship of the Ring followed the book (the parts it used, at least) almost exactly, so that made it awesome. I can't wait to see The Two Towers, and I'm sure I won't be too disappointed. But if what I've heard is true, it'll go from about a 10 on the 1-10 scale to about a 7 even though it is action-packed. Just my opinion though... And since we're on the topic of fantasy books: THEY ARE AWESOME! They let you explore lands and worlds you can't in real life... There's just no real way to explain it. Heh.
why should I have to explain myself when I say I dont like a certian thing? I dont like that genre and I wont be seeing the movie. 'Nuff said
i haven't read the books, so i don't know whether they follow them good or not. it's an amazing movie either way.

To those that say it's going to be crap because it doesn't follow the book(s) : Films based on books are not supposed to follow them exactly, if they did then people who had read the book would find it boring. The reason why the stroylines are twisted is maybe because the original drags on a little... (like the start of the fellowship book dragged on in my opinion) or maybe they want the film to be more exciting. Just so long as they follow the main plot of the story...it's alright...I think... I'll leave it to your own opinion...but I think it's top class stuff...you have to go watch it... B) Oh yeah.. xXLPXx ..Orlando Bloom looks good with long hair...and that's saying something
