C'mon guys, "Into You" was the jam.

I know it's good that Chester's gonna focus on LP, but I really wish that someday they could get a longer break so they could finally relax/produce the best possible thing with careful timing. Probably have a year with absolutely no shows/touring while focusing on writing/family time. There has not been a year since they started that they didn't tour.

Yeah, I remember enjoying "Into You" and the acoustic performances of "Let Down" and I don't remember much else being good.

Best Dead by Sunrise thing was the artwork... songs weren't great.

Out of Ashes had it's good moments and strong performances, but I feel what ultimately bogged it down was the 'over-production'. There's a lot of songs that I feel were over-polished and over-glossed to the point they lost their character. The fact that some of the demos you heard live before the album was released were better, shows that sometimes too much production is a bad thing.

Maybe some of you didn't like DBS, but Chester fucking nailed it live. How could you deny this? :headbang:

Hell Yea. I loved his performances of Crawl Back In. It made me appreciate the song more because of how great he sung it live.

A good performance of a bad song doesn't make the song good.

Live performances can certainly sway opinions. I thought Blackout was trash until I saw it live, same with Shadow of The Day. Some people learn to appreciate something more when seeing it from a different stance.

Even though I'm glad Chester's now back to focusing solely on Linkin Park music-wise, it bums me out that he had to pull out of STP, seeing as it was his dream and all and he looked like he had a ton of fun performing with them, which I don't blame him one bit. Ironically enough, I pulled out my copy of "High Rise" from my CD shelf yesterday and now I can't stop playing it these past two days. It aged super well! And I still love "Same On The Inside" the most.

"Into You" was freaking perfection to me.

Yes. I think especially the synths/sometimes guitars in many of DBT's songs make them special. I don't know why, but they create a certain futuristic vibe, which I love. Anyone feeling the same way?

Its so sad. But as sad as this news is, honestly, whats worse to me is how upset Chester seems to be right now. No one expected this at all and im sure he feels a trillion times worse about having to leave STP now than what he may have before. :(

    RIP Scott. :'[
