The latest and final XVLP collaboration has now been made available. This time the band teamed with RVCA, a company based in Costa Mesa, California. Complex uploaded a video of Mike and Joe talking to one of the founders, Pat Tenore. In the video he talks to the guys about the meaning of the VA in the name, his theory of Linkin Parks music and how his company got started. You can watch the video below. The result of this collaboration is another jacket. This time mixing a cool black and blue combination with a big "XVLP" on the back and some early day Linkin Park patches on the front. The jacket is available in the XVLP Store for $95 and stocks is again limited to 150. What do you think of the design? Will you be getting it? Join the discussion in the forums! I think my biggest problem with the "HT15" collection is the brand's incessant need to put their name or logo on the shirt or jacket. I've never been one for fashion labels. I'm not going to start now because my favorite band's logo is also pasted on their clothes.
This is easily the most appealing apparel they've made, most of what they put out looks awful. The blue and black color scheme is really appealing, but too bad it's so limited. Pricing is a little high, but with the pricing of clothing now days it's not that outlandish, especially in comparison to the $115 T-shirt. I'd like for them to make more clothing in this color scheme.
Honestly I think this one is pretty nice. Compared to all the other ones, this stands out significantly. Funny how it's the best designed yet probably the cheapest.
Another win in my books. Just obscure enough to have people take a second look to analyze the logos without being gaudy and screaming 'THIS IS LINKIN PARK'. Subtle is good. Still immensely disappointed at the BAPE x LP collab shirt. Yuck.
This! But I also like that it is more subtle. No need for big ®s here, honestly. -- So, now that this is finally off the table, let's move on to LPUXV.
Very much agree. Best piece of LP apparel in, like, forever, IMO. Price is reasonable too but it's a little out of my range or I'd get it for myself.
I wouldn't say that, but still a nice piece of clothing. There has been some better merch that has come out over the last few years.
Yeah, that one gray Welcome shirt is sick (which I own). But judging by the fact that only the BAPE shirt sold out, I think this collaboration can be counted as a failure.
Why did exactly this shirt sell out? It's kinda the worst of those. Maybe just, because it was the first and many people interested in this special just bought this one without waiting for the rest.
I ordered the mystery shirt and ended up getting the BAPE one (which was somehow part of the promotion? I'm not complaining). To be honest it's a pretty nice shirt, maybe like 30 dollars nice but I don't see how they can possibly charge 115 dollars for a cotton t shirt. That's ridiculous
