It doesn't mean the album is 'pop'. What that means is after an album spends over 2 years on the chart, it gets a special spot on the "Pop Catalouge" charts to showcase how well it did on the charts before dropping off. If my memory serves me right, LP spent 170 weeks on the chart for Hybrid Theory.
