Linkin Park returns to Brazil! They played here in 2004, 2010, and four times in 2012 as part of their South American tour. The performance in 2004 is to date the bands biggest performance, with 80.000 in attendance. It was the last show of the Meteora touring cycle and the last performance until 2005 when the band only performed twice in the entire year. Sadly this is one show that we wish we had a proshot recording of, but sadly we don’t. So instead you can check out The Catalyst from their 2010 performance at the SWU Music and Arts Festival. Last we caught up with the band on the road, they played in Concord, CA. The show ended The Carnivores Tour, the only tour as of yet that had two LPU summits on it. The tour stretched 26 dates between August 8th and September 19th. From the tour we got the live premieres of Rebellion and Final Masquerade, and on the Los Angeles show Daron Malakian joined the band on stage and played his part on Rebellion. We also got a new version of Lying From You, one that contained elements from the version found on Collision Course. As for the Concord show, check out Final Masquerade from the performance here below. This show in Belo Horizonte will be livestreamed! At 22:30 DST Linkin Park takes the stage infront of the Brazilian audience for what will most likely be a fantastic show. We have seen videos from the rehearsals, like Points of Authority and Final Masquerade. Will we see some new song debuts? There has been a lot of talk from some band members that they want to play Keys to the Kingdom, and I think we all would love to see that happen. Another song that would be great to work into the show would be A Line In The Sand, but maybe I’m just wishing a bit too hard here. With the release of the song White Noise from The Mall soundtrack, maybe the band will incorporate it into the set? We'll have to wait and see. Livestream Details: Stream (Alternate Link) Linkin Park - 22:30 DST Countdown Clock. For the full line up, you can check the Multishow website. If you are having trouble watching the stream, use Hola for Google Chrome and it should work. After this, the band plays another show in Brazil on the 19th. After that they head home to play a show for Guitar Center on the 24th. So what do you think will happen at the show? Will we see any new songs debut? Are you attending the show? I guess Brazilian fans can shut up for a day? But seriously, good for them. Looking forward to the stream, as well, should be good and the audience will be energetic as fuck. That's almost a given, unfortunately. :| Oh, well!
May seem like a stupid question, and I'm sorry if it is, but where can I find the livestream? I can't seem to find it :/
Very interesting show...no Brad (his tech Benjamin filled in for him), Mike's keyboards had a ton of technical difficulties throughout the night that resulted in Castle of Glass and the Maschine pad solo at the beginning of his solo spot being dropped, and the band completely screwed up Burn it Down (it sounded like they forgot whether they were playing the full or shortened version).
And those are just the major problems that we saw - there were a number of slip-ups, mostly timing-related, littered throughout the set.

Brad apparently didn't make the trip to Brazil with the band and will not be playing tomorrow either.
Well, i kinda already expect these slip-ups to happen, they've been popping up in almost every concert in the last couple of years. But I think this show in particular was pretty solid, mostly because Chester's voice was damn fine compared to the last shows. (Probably because he let it rest for a while)
Couple notes - Chester was on point, an exceptional performance. Honestly, one of the best he's done in some time, Definitely the top for this year, imo. - Was the guitar playing much better than usual? ........No, seriously, lol. Brad needs to keep up. - Funny thing I wanted to point out. Chester has the mustache every now and then, but coincidentally, he was rocking it the last time they streamed the Multi Show AO VIVO Brazil performance in 2012.
