Faust Arp is nice but it's not the best sad song, not even on In Rainbows. Videotape is fantastic but it is just SO depressing for me. I can't listen to it without feeling sad because of a real life situation I associate with that song.
I never noticed that actually, but I think my taste is pretty similar to Chester's as well (so, my taste and yours are similar too, I think ). Especially from prior interviews, he mentions albums that I really enjoy. Then this. Interesting.
Yes, same for me. He also had some great songs on the Itunes Celebrity Playlist Podcast or something (Hang You Up From The Heavens, Aurora, Stockholm Syndrome and some more). And the fact that he likes "Friends" makes me like him even more.
i love give me your name i mean, they would be bad if it was just another cliche love song. but the fact that it was made for his wife make it special.
Normally would agree but for such a personal song he should be able to write whatever he damn wants. It's funny how similar my music taste is, including in da club being one of my all time favourite club tracks, difficult to imagine Chester covering it though.
Glad to read that Chester is a Radiohead fan. It is hard not to make the correlation considering A Thousand Suns. I would have picked Codex from King of Limbs. Now that is a sad song.
I hated it when they wouldn't perform GMYN in their DBS shows. BTW, I'm wondering why they stopped playing BTH, Chester's favorite song, and swapped it with the lame "Runaway".
