Don Gilmore or Mike Shinoda..? I think after 2 more albums with Don Gilmore , Mike should be the producer...
Yea mike is good but not good enough. After a couple more albums Mike should be able to produce them.
Maybe Mike could help produce it with someone... but NOT Don Gilmore. They need to be able to do more things that they want without someone telling them that this or that is good for the album. Just my opinion though...
#### Gilmore. They need a new producer. IMO Mike could do it now. Afterall he did do Reanimation, and if Mike produced then obviously the rest of the band would help...then they could do what ever they want.
I think the whole band should produce the next album. Go to Linkinpark.com, go to the homepage with the sliding thing, click on Music, then click on Hybrid Theory EP. Look at the details next to the 'Producer' tag, what do you see? That's right, Hybrid Theory. They've done it before and they can do it again.
That's actually wrong. I own the EP, and only Mike produced it.
Then tell Alex to fix it.
That's actually wrong. I own the EP, and only Mike produced it.
what about that murdock or mudrock guy?
I actually want to listen to Xero
You wanna take Chester out of the band ? No, seriously, I know what you mean and you know what I mean too .
I actually want to listen to Xero
Xero was way too much rap for me. Linkin Park need to balance out rap and rock a lot better on their next CD. My thinking is that they need to start coming out with mixed up songs, where one verse is rapped, another is sung, and the bridge is rapped and sung. They need to mix things up a bit like that.
A producer is a person a band hires to have an additional opinion on their work and a producer sometimes records the album
I just want another producer....I'm not sure about Mike's abilities yet, and he won't have the same criticism that an 'outsider' would have of their music. Don Gilmore is a producer who gets LP to sound Radio-friendly and thats not how I want them...its just killing them right now. I think a producer like David Bottrill or Rick Rubin would help tremendously at bringing out the creative aspects of their music and whip them into shape
Mike knows the equipment, he knows what other band members want to express because he's in the band. He produced the EP and that sounded good. I think a good balenced CD with Mike producing it will be the best album!
