I like Chester's and Brad's interviews a lot more this album cycle.
Mike just seems to come of as a pretty arrogant person.
I feel like the last time he seemed like a humble guy was in that music university(or whatever it was) interview.

I've been wondering who the hell Page is and how Helmet sounds for a while. I hear Unsung on YouTube and release I've heard them on the radio numerous numerous times. If Mike, Chester, and Page share the chorus we are in for a treat. As Derek said, early Sum 41 style gang vocals.

Listen to the track ''Seeing Eye Dog'' by Helmet. It's a good song.

Wait, Chester thinks it was six years ago when he said the band would be releasing a new record every 18 months?! It was between the ATS and LT cycles, and I'm pretty sure my memory is serving me right!

Yep.. I think he counted ATS's pre-production stage during 2008.. so 6 years

I'm glad they're psyched about what they're about to come out with.

But they look like complete douchebags ragging on "safety rock" and "manufactured music" when they've been Linkin Park for almost 20 years.

About time they pull something good out. Last 3 albums have been nothing but average stuff.

I never said they were a "manufactured" band, but they're a band that sure as shit has manufactured their music for the past decade or so. For a very long time they were exceptionally proud of their "piece it together" approach to music, and that's fine, but now they come off like sort of dickheads given how badly they're trashing that approach to music when a very strong case could be made that they themselves are/were more a production team.

Writing bits and pieces of instruments here and here, working it all together in a laptop and working from there? Manufacturing.

While I agree it's about time they pulled out a heavy-rock album, MTM and ATS were some of their best work.

I'm confused. People fell asleep? Why are they listening to an album while tired? Go have some coffee, duuuuude.
