Well, that was a waste of time.

 

Bore much. No news.

 

I read somewhere that they had cameras rolling the entire making of this album, so I seriously hope so too.

 

The newpost was disappointing at first as it seemed the video was 'only about GATS' but now i've watched the vid myself and I find myself stoked once more about the song and the album even though I've heared the song so many times already Great to see some more parts being played.

 

If there is a "Making of" on the album, I hope that the whole thing only focuses on GATS and leaves the rest of the songs out, since I haven't heard or seen enough back story on it.

 

I don't think what the guy said about LPA getting a new writer was RUDE. Just someone stating his opinion. I thought this was america? *SouthPark Randy reference*
Because seriously, I thought we'd be getting to hear some snippets in this video aswell. A few weeks ago the same thing happened, we get misinformed constantly thinking we get to hear new shit but then we just get dissapointed because of how we've been misinformed with non existing hype . No hard feelings though, I don't mind and think LPA does a great job, hope nobody feels offended ^^ Just sharing what I've experienced aswell. I don't think LPA needs a new writer though, he/she does an extremely good job!

 

I can see why everyone is bitching, a news post that really doesn't have any new news. Not the LPA's fault, but really guys just take this for what it is. I think really, the album cycle has officially started NOW with this video. I'm sure we will start getting more LPTV's frequently now since this one is released. I do like the quality and overall feel of the footage though. Seems official, as if we are getting a huge making of (which better be longer than an hour this time, damn it) and I'm glad that it doesn't have the horrible distorted effects like Meeting of A Thousand Suns had.

Sweet. At least it didn't create false expectation of the music as Living Things' did. Awesome footage too.

 

I completely forgot about all those effects until you mentioned them. Holy shit the black and white and all the distortion got annoying after a while.

 

I declare shenanigans. When I make the "boring notting new" joke everyone gets mad but it can be seen twice in this thread?! I'm gonna bring it back out of nowhere, I'll wait for the right moment to strike! Muahaha.

Also, this combined with the other GATS video is pretty cool. Chester being pumped up to actually hear the opening riff (which isn't even the best part in my opinion) shows the band's enthusiasm with their decision to go heavy this time instead of turning into a male dual vocaled Purity Ring copy. Which would be cool but..eh.

 

Just tell me where I can pre-order the super duper nerd fan package that comes with a goblet and standard ear plugs....I will order with haste

im loving those riffs! i didn't mind hearing GATS for the hundredth time. i enjoyed the behind the scenes

 

We will probably get something at the beginning of May, I don't see much for April.

 

Any thoughts on them being interviewed? It seems like it will be a bigger documentary than Inside Living Things (18 minutes of eh). Seems like this could be along the lines of the Making of Minutes to Midnight

 

Yeap everyone thought they were going to hear some new Hunting Party stems. Good video overall Chester got me pumped. 6.17.14!!
