Representatives for the global audio company HARMAN announced at the recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that Linkin Park will be the "ambassadors" for the company's Infinity brand. Infinity is announcing two new product lines, the Infinity Reference Loudspeakers Series and a wireless system called Infinity One, and Linkin Park will be heavily involved in product promotion as well as having collaborated with the company on product designs.

According to an article by TWICE, Infinity and Linkin Park are entering into a five-year partnership which apparently includes, among other things, a private concert on January 9 at Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and possible Linkin Park-branded products in the future.

Linkin Park band member Mike Shinoda has been quoted in an article published on The Wall Street Journal about the collaboration:

Is there a typo on the private concert? A show on the 9th (today) seems weird if it was just announced the day before. Plus, that makes 3 shows in 3 days for the band which could be a little much

You make a good point - out of the three sources which I checked and linked, only one mentions the show ...

But there will be an LPU Meetup at the Hard Rock Cafe on that date :)

Looks like you were actually right:

They actually played a 14 song set last night (including a full band ALTNC), probably shorter because it was a surprise show and it would be a good warm up for the next two shows.
