well, I've been taking French since grade 4 and all through high school (still haven't figured out why though). It's way too hard now. You guys speak way too fast and I still haven't figured out why some things are masculine and why some things are feminine. A table is male but an eraser is female? I dunno...
I dont like french guys. I'll never let my wife go to france. ever. and if shes already been, ill burn her passport. There'll be no seducing of my lady by any one but me!!! Ju stoopid focks!!! *gunshots* *tonymontana* *moregunshots*
I think they eat weird yuck foods. Some of it sounds good but some is just scary . French = Eat weird food. (I'm hungry )
French food is pretty nice - I've never tried frogs legs or snails (though it's apparently tradition to do so) but heh. The Wine is very very high quality, and I'm allowed to drink it at mealtimes or whatever. It's not exactly true about the French having some sort of fasination with cheese - but many farmers do choose to make their own sort of brand and then sell it to local villagers or markets (That's what my grand-father does with honey anyway). The French like motorbikes though, especially where I 'live'.
I'm very happy because a lot of people here think good about french people! I'm french I live in PARIS and I think we are very differents of Americans but in FRANCE we listen US music, we wear a lot of US clothes... a lot of french hate americans people but it's sad! I LOVE AMERICANS...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think they're cool. Every year i go on holiday to france for 2 weeks. I understand the language cuz i learn it at school ... it's already my 4th year french so ...
I've never been in France and never met a french person... but I've been been learning french since 7th grade, but still I've got no clue. Maybe someone could help me
The french think Americans are stupid. Why do you think the french sell bottled water in America? Cause they think we're stupid enough to PAY for water. Yep. But I love the french water. I can actually tell the difference.. :chemist:
I love French people, minus the rude ones of course. I've been to Montreal and it was hard to understand them even though from the 4th grade up until 9th I had to take French classes. They're just misunderstood and they're trying to protect their language.
nice country nice language but very weird people when you cant speak french they dont even try to understand you... they keep talking their language like its some taboe to speak other one.. thats my expierence with them.... offcourse not every french people are like that,.... but on my vacation there didnt meet nice people....
yeah that's right. My french is soooooo bad and when we're on vacation to france we always try to speak english with the french people ..well...they always speak french. And becuz i'm from belgium they think i speak french very well (totally not )
when i was in quebec city 2 years ago, we'd just go in to shops and ask "parles-tu anglais?" to the guy behind the counter and 99% of the time, the person spoke very fluent english.

Here, it's a necessity. The person that speaks French & English will get the job before the one with French only.
It's also true on the flip side. The person who can speak both French and English would get a job over the person who can only speak English. Why do you think I've been taking French for eight years? I don't have a problem with French people at all. I've been to both Montreal and Quebec City, and they people there I have met have been very friendly and helpful. And they didn't really mock my mediocre French speaking skills!
I like France! My aunt lives in Paris, so we often visit her!But I have difficulties with the language, because everybody's talking so fast there!
