The final of three "Making of the Song" video installments has been released on XBOX.com for XBOX Live users to watch! These videos offer a look into the creative process behind the recent Linkin Park single "A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES", a song which will appear on the band's remix set, "Recharged", later this month.

This latest video shows us a Skype video conversation between Linkin Park band member Mike Shinoda and Steve Aoki, who collaborated with Linkin Park to create the song. They discuss the murky beginnings of their collaborative process, their individual experiences making the song and their excitement about the possibility of performing the song live at Summer Sonic.

Users can check out this latest video HERE.

Note: anyone having issues watching the video via the aforementioned link should try this link instead. As has been the case with the other two episodes in the series, fans can probably also expect to see this video up on Linkin Park's official YouTube channel within a few days' time.

I feel like there's been a distinct lack of footage that shows them actually making the song

Can it be the remix of ALTNC by Rick Rubin that we hear at the end of the video?

It sounds about the same as the original with the guitars slightly louder.

I agree that these videos felt more like "The Process of Making" rather than the "Making of" the song. Regardless, they were satisfying to watch, so no other complaints.

I wish they'd stop using that four-chord structure. Just sounds like What I've Done and New Divide.
