I don't think you're taking the intensity of the situation into consideration. Walt just lost all his money, Hank is dead, Flynn knows about him. No one would be able to stay normal in that situation.

I think what we need to remember is that, just because we as the audience know that Walt really has sort of become the "family man" again (or as I called it, Heisenberg is in remission), that doesn't mean the other characters do.

Skyler and Hank don't owe Walt any conflicted emotions with all the things he's done and orchestrated. It's like the boy who cried wolf. If you're a ruthless guy who has no trouble getting ten men whacked in prison or having a bomb go off in a nursing home, eventually no one is gonna believe you when you say things like "I tried to save him!" Walt has made his bed, now he has to lie in it. But before he does, he can at least try to make things just the tiniest bit right. Starting with the phone call to Skyler at the end that absolved her.

In the flash forward, we saw an early Heisenberg pretending to be Walt. At the end, we saw Walt pretending to be Heisenberg.

I can't believe people here are still acting like Walt isn't a bad person and they are still justifying all of his actions. Dean Norris was on Talking Bad last night and he was making fun of the fans like this. I don't see how anyone can honestly believe that Walter White isn't a bad person; he is for sure. It doesn't mean that I don't love Walt's character and that he isn't my favorite character on the show, but he still is a bad person when push comes to shove. My god.

In this second half of the season, where everything has clues and secretes in every scene, it's hard not to start paying more attention and think really hard about what you see.
So when Jack holds the gun to Jesse's head and Jesse look up, he sees a crystal blue sky with 2 eagles flying, together.

That one shot has me analyzing it like crazy, anyone have any theories?

No theories on that. But in the fire station scene two dudes are playing chess. I haven't really analyzed the position the game was in but maybe someone could do that and find something. The show has a reputation of foreshadowing certain things.

Skyler flat out told Walt that she's afraid of him. If she thinks he's capable of harming her, what makes the idea of Walt killing Hank less conceivable? Because Walt, the guy who does nothing but spew bullshit to her, seemed hesitant about killing someone? What has Walt shown her to make her believe he's even remotely sincere about that? Why should she trust him? You have to remember, Skyler doesn't completely understand the extent of Walt's relationship with Jesse. You're still looking at this as a member of the audience and not as Skyler.

 I watched a few episodes two or three years ago on TV. Yeah, pretty much the best series overall.
I'm waiting now until the Blu-ray box is released here, but I just had to watch the first two episodes again today.

I love the similarity of the Walt/Gus pic. Not so sure about the Jesse/Gus pic, I think that's a bit of a stretch.

I can see where you're coming from, but considering literally only one side of Jesse's face has been effected, surely it must be on purpose.

Still think the CG on Gus' face in that scene is really bad. I no shit thought he was a fucking terminator for a second or two when I watched that episode.

I'm pretty sure most of his face is not CG, but make up. They had the Walking Dead makeup crew on Breaking Bad just to do it. The see-through effect is indeed a 3D model that was overlayed on his face but otherwise, I think it's a practical effect.

I know, but the digital finish makes it look kind of silly. The way the end of that scene unfolded kind of made me cringe in general. Season 3 was awesome overall, but there were some pulpy elements (namely Tuco's borderline-superhuman and garishly-dressed cousins) that I'm glad the show has since distanced itself from.

If there were any way possible to avoid spoilers I would love to watch the last 2 episodes uninterrupted at once like a movie.

No chance in hell of that happening though.

    No. Way. In. Hell.

Even without the spoilers, I don't think I have the willpower to hold myself back for a week. Breaking Bad is Monday.

It's possible but the BB craving is tremendous, I cannot hold myself from watching it the instant it's out.

SPOILERS It was an okay episode. The commercial breaks kind of ruined the suspense a bit. So many loose ends are left at the end of this episode in ways for me at least. Yes, Jesse almost escaped, and they caught him and killed Andrea. But what happens after that? Is Jesse dead or alive? Saul was with Walt in the beginning before he left for New Hampshire, saying he was going to Nebraska, but we never heard if he actually went or what happened to Saul. We last see Marie when she is being escorted to her house by police, and they see that the house has been broken into (by the Aryan's and they stole the tape). We never see her again, so what happens to her?? The whole Todd and his crew thing when they snuck into Skyler's house was actually kind of terrifying, I never usually get afraid during movies or TV shows, but the way Todd acted was just plain creepy. He's definitely a psycho. I worried that they would kill Skyler after because of what Lydia said, but so far they haven't. I never pictured it to be winter in New Hampshire, I'm from the East Coast (about 3 hours from New Hampshire actually) and the winters are brutal, I bet that was a shock to Walt. Lol. The only complaint besides the loose ends that I have is the fact that months passed and we didn't really see how that happened, they could have done a short montage or something. The ending was just crazy. I don't know why he would call Walter Jr at school, and I don't know why Walter Jr acted the way he did, I know that Walt did BAD things, but it's still his father, he could have at least acted shocked when he heard from him, and it seems that the money he was going to send would have helped Skyler and the kids a lot, but whatever. Anyways, this isn't how the 'ending' was envisioned in my mind, but it's not a bad ending I guess. We still have one more episode left, and it's obvious now that Walt is coming back to kill Todd and his uncles (possibly Lydia as well). I don't think he is coming back to kill Gretchen and Elliot, despite how angry he was after watching that TV program where they said all he contributed was in the name of the company. I don't think anyone else will die during the series besides Walt in the end of this next episode. I ALWAYS thought Skyler was going to be killed, but apparently she isn't going to be. I really just hope it ties up loose ends for the viewers, and there is no wondering after it's done.

That last scene couldn't have been more perfect. I'm just wondering how in the hell are they going to wrap everything up in only 75 minutes?! That episode went by so fast!
