Guitars in a rock band!? I'd say that shouldn't be a surprise for anyone but then LP had to go remove theirs. GUITAR4LIFE.
This song is good, but I disagree with the guitar necessity for LP. STP and LP are two different things of their own so you can't make references to back up the other just because Chester is with STP now. Linkin Park's innovations are their own, and their fanbase, for the most part, seems to enjoy pretty much any work they do or get involved with. Whether they use guitars or not, they manage to pull off the great sound that represents them.
Your wrong, they sound like every dubstep band in the world with their techno electronics. If I wanted to listen to Deadmow five I'd listen to it.

Funny. I'm getting a Beatles-vibe from the melody, especially from the bridge. And I love The Beatles! So this song is good. Also, the guitar solo is sweet.
Love it. Picks up where the 2010 self-titled album (loved that album for the most part) left off but a new direction. Vocally and melodically Chester puts a unique spin on it while also staying true to Scott's melodic sensibilities.

To each their own. Sure, at first I hated all the changes LP made, but it makes them diverse and refreshing sounding. It's better to push and challenge than to play it safe. Who knows what the next album will bring.
