Linkin Park announced the winner of their CASTLE OF GLASS design contest today. This contest was announced back in April and it allowed fans to submit designs based on the lyrics and music of their latest single from LIVING THINGS, CASTLE OF GLASS. Check out the blog post from LinkinPark.com below: Check out all the other entries for this contest on the TalentHouse website. Source: Linkin Park | Talenthouse via Andreina
Good to see the contest was fulfilled. The winning entry looks great and I think the organizers made justice on choosing Vinicius' design as the winner by social vote, I assume they DQ'd the turkish guy cause he was doing some shady stuff to gain votes... And his design was utter shit. Congrats to the winners!
I haven't been following this contest at all, so I can't say much about the other submissions. But wow, I like the winning design more than I thought I would. This is certainly no "Iridescent" single cover. The runner-up design is interesting, but I don't feel like it would have fit well as the winning design. Nevertheless, congrats to both of them and good job to all those who participated.
That's awesome! Good to see that the contest didn't end with the SUPER AWESOME 3D MICROSOFT PAINT 98 LETTERS!!! Congrats to the winners!
I need another white LP t-shirt, so I hope they print this one in white. Seems like all the ones I have are black...
Congratulations to the winners! Dika is my friend. His drawings are sick! His artwork has surprised Mike since Gelora Bung Karno M&G (September 21st 2011). Mike even slammed the table when this happened (I'll find the video later). No this is not him. He's also friend of mine. He was the one who brought Dika's artwork.
Anyone else getting an early 90s Metal Gear Solid vibe from the winner? That's an amazing bit of work. I haven't bought a band tee in a long while...I might have to break down and get this one.
The winner is crazy, as someone else said, SICK. Impressive. The second, without intending being offensive, but just giving a honest critic, feels weak, cliché and poor of message. Don't like.
Wow, guys! This is amazing! I'm a graphic designer starting my career, this is just UTOPIC! About my design, it represent the mythological "Icaru's wing". It's is a very deep concept, i've worked on the concept for days. He has a lot of message. Thanks, everybody. Congratulations, DIKA!
Cool shirt. I hope they have it for sale at the Sunset Strip show, I will buy it there if they do. I'm not sure if ordering it online from LP.com would be a hassle or not at the moment since I would need a credit card. Good design, I'm happy LP fell through with this afterall.
