I just saw on the RIAA website and it says that LIVING THINGS was certified gold on April 3rd. I don't know if someone already saw this or not but I want to say congratulations LP for another gold record!

Frankly I'm surprised it's sold that much, it had a grand total of one promoted single.

Don't know why it took so long to get certified, it sold over 500,000 a while ago.

RIAA certifications aren't done automatically, the artist has to pay a pretty hefty fee and submit a formal request for them to certify/re-certify their sales counts. There are a lot of classic albums from the '60s and '70s that have probably sold 6 or 7 million copies by now but are only certified Gold/1x Platinum because they haven't been re-certified since a few years after they came out.
