On LPL we have a thread where we would talk about what concerts we are going to that are coming up. It also gets some interesting discussion up and we can see what other people are going too. I'll start: Today I just got back from a Thousand Foot Krutch Concert at a small personal venue where only 300 people were allowed in and it was awesome! Future: 9/28: Rise Against, Tempe Beach Park, Tempe, Arizona 9/29: Desert Uprising Festival Day 2 (Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, HellYeah, Adelitas Way, P.O.D., Fozzy, Mindset Evolution, Duece, Redlight King, and Candlelight Red). Ashley Furniture HomeStore Pavilion, Phoenix, Arizona.
Well, all of my hopefuls have gone and passed, so at least I'll have plenty of time to save for next summer.
Going to see Earth, Sunn O))), Pelican, Grails, Tortoise, Shellac, Alexisonfire, Russian Circles, Eagle Twin and Madlib in the next few months. Then going to Harvest Festival (Sigur Ros, Grizzly Bear, Beirut and so on) in November, All Tomorrow's Parties (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, My Bloody Valentine, Swans etc.) in February then Soundwave Festival (Blink 182, Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, Gallows etc.) in March.
I'm hopefully going to Asking Alexandria January 26th here in Stockholm. Second time I'll be seeing them. AWESOME!
9/8 - Linkin Park, Incubus, Mutemath - Los Angeles, CA 10/6 - Black Keys, Tegan and Sara - Los Angeles, CA Really excited for both.
so Jealous. Anyways, 9/19: Jason Castro, Thunderground, Phoenix, Arizona. Never really paid attention to this guy except for on American Idol but it's a free concert, so I thought Why not
November - Hundred Reasons, Hell Is For Heroes and Cable Part of Hundred Reasons farewell tour. I consider myself lucky to be going.
Lamb of God in December. Tried to go see Henry Rollins capitalist spoken word tour but it fell through
I'm gonna see a new group called The Last Bison for free tomorrow on my campus at 7 pm. We'll see how they are. Edit: Well I just got back. It was really good. It was pretty much if Arcade Fire and Mumford & Sons had a music baby.
