I feel like Valentine's Day is a bit under-appreciated, as with In Pieces and In Between. I don't think any of them have been played live. Edit: Wow, fail. They've all been played live.
Burning In The Skies is one of the most OVERrated songs from ATS in my opinion (don't hurt me ) Regarding underrated songs, I'd say either Valentine's Day or Forgotten. Especially Forgotten. It hasn't been played live for 10 years, fans almost never put it in their favorite list, I'd say Forgotten is really forgotten. hmm
Overall song - I don't know "Leave Out All the Rest" for me is their most underrated SINGLE. It's one of their most beautiful songs, and could've been a smash single. But no, there was barely any promotion. And it peaked only at #11 at the Alternative Songs (hell, "Given Up" did better) and #98 on Hot 100. Sure, the video was a hit, but its lack of success resulted in less plays during the ATS tour. LOATR deserved more than that.
In Between and Robot Boy seem to be the most under appreciated and underrated of the bunch from what I've seen.
I think Robot Boy is too polarizing between people that think it's a work of art to people that think it's an intro to a much more beautiful track, Journada Del Muerto. The only other album that has a sugnificant others like this is Minutes To Midnight, specifically because of how each song is so vastly different than the last.
In Between, Robot Boy, Valentine's Day. Burning In The Skies is not really underrated, alot of people like it and it's in my top 5
In my opinion Robot Boy is really underrated. But there are a few other songs like The Little Things Give You Away or Easier To Run which are underrated too.
Not Alone, it's one of Chester's most beautiful vocal performances and it was for a great cause but everybody seems to hate it.
