I think most people have heard of Noise Thereapy and Spineshank, but 2 Skinny J's?? Nope...never heard of em.. Bush (Weird, weird band. Don't really know much about them, got there album "Deconstructed", from a Pawn Shop here in town. I hated it. ) Flybanger (Not bad, the singer sounds like 3 Doors Down/Nickelback, he has like that country accent, but they are a metal band. I only like 2 of the songs, "Evelyn" and...I don't remember the other one. I dont listen to it often enough. Point Of Violence (Local band, heavy metal, I like them but I've only heard them once) Cellophane (Local band, never heard them though. The lead singer is my ex-girlfriends older brother.) Calico System(Band from St. Louis, you may have heard of them, but I've only heard them over the phone cause my ex-girlfriend listens to them all the time) InsideOut (Local Band; Erm...I don't like them. They are soft rock from what I have heard of them. ANd I don't think they write music, cause I've only heard covers) Frayl (Local band, well they are a town away anyways. Never heard there music, but my friends have) Str8Ball (Local Band, they play a little bit of rock and blues...I don't listen to them....) I think there are few more local metal bands but I don't remember there names.
In.My.Skin Noise Therapy isn't well-known. Chances are, if you ask someone if they've heard them, they'll say they haven't.
Lacuna Coil: I saw one of their videos on MTV2 for the first time, (Heaven's A Lie) they're pretty cool. I don't know if anyone is familiar with them, but they're basically a slightly heavier version of Evanescence.

Oh, ok, sorry. All my friends heard of them, so I just figured...oh well, nevermind that then Shade. Caitlin: Yeah I saw Heavens A Lie on Fuse, and I thought they kicked! I bought there album and they rule, but not many people have heard of them yet. I prefer there female singer to Amy Lee too, but the male vocalist...meh he's alright.

Symphony X - THE most underrated band (i think) in metal today. Mixes crunchy metal with progressive metal, a touch of symphonic rock and classical stylings. Michael Romeo is this generations version of Yngwie Malmsteen and Russ Allen is the perfect metal vocalist. Check their website out www.symphonyx.com, they have TONS of Mp3 samples! Dredg - Freakin AMAZING Emo band, Paulette's heard of them. They are from England I believe.
