    UVR... they are cool, though I haven't heard their newest stuff... oh yeah, and one time they came to my high school for a concert... fun times. ^_^

    Flying Blind I've seen these guys at my company's Christmas party. they are local, and they were even on the American Pie 2 soundtrack.

    They aren't unheard of. :rolleyes: They're one of the biggest mainstream pop-punk bands.

    Ok I really don't know if this is a "unheard" band or not, but I looked for there cd and I couldn't find it so I'm thinking they are, I don't know the offical site so just look for there song "Forgot Your Name" it's from the movie Van Wilder, when Van is running to his last final... :eek:

    Straylight Run - emo band formed from ex-members of Taking Back Sunday

    Skycamefalling - hardcore, sounds something like From Autumn To Ashes. I think they've broken up now. :mellow:

    Mew - Danish indie rock band. Their latest single is "She Came Home For Christmas". I tell everyone about this band but not a lot of people seem to have heard of them. :wth:

    tHrOnE - a very new band. There's a clip of their single "Brave" on level27online.com, featuring Billy Martin of Good Charlotte.

    Longview - another indie rock band from the UK.

    There's this rapper from Canada whose name is "Classified" and he's got some pretty good beats. My brother's always listening to him. I like some of his lyrics because he's always talking about breaking necks, and that's an inside joke between me and my friend next-door.

    okay i'm not a complete fan of them but I do know that my brother is obsessive with this band very much, they are EXTREMLEY underground. They're a heavy metal screaming band called Converge ;)
