You will have immediate access to pre-sale tickets. If your laminate and lanyard has not arrived before the show, remember to bring your identification card to have access to the Early Entry and Meet & Greet.
But that's not what Adam said some time ago. He only mentioned if you don't have your laminate before the show than bring along your ID card.
Hmmm... That would mean that presumably anyone with a laminate would be able to get into the meet and greet. I guess we will find out for sure when we get our confirmation emails... I just know the LPU of old had a list of names with somebody monitoring that list at the show.
I'd like to thank Hybrid and ZoeLinkingal along with others for answering my questions. Especially Hybrid for going in dept to answer my questions I finally pulled the trigger and bought the $25 package, just in the time for Monday's presale I hope! Now I hope the presale process will go smoothly..never purchased presale tickets via LPU before.. *crosses fingers* lol Thanks again guys
That's awesome! You're welcome! Make sure youre there when the tickets go live. Best selection is available then!
I don't quite buy this. In the past the membership cards were claimed to do this, but they were never used. It was always a photo ID. Because of the photo and name part. It has been like this for at least ten years. Maybe with early access the lanyard alone might do, but I don't bet on it. For the meet and greets? No. They need ID because you're put on a list. The LPU has a history of being a bit disorganized. I'm still a member, but I know better than to leave an oppertunity for a mess up to happen. I would not leave that ID at home. Keep on your toes. I always found ticket buying a little frazzling (with or without LPU), but there's always that chance that something weird happens. For that reason I like to be plugged into the LPU community (chat or forum over there) at the same time as buying stuff. And ditto Hybrid's suggestion on getting there right as it opens.
Ok guys...I took the plunge and bought Pit tickets. Do you guys think it was a wise decision? The venue is here: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/1100488D7F2C5205?artistid=703831&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=60 Being a LPU member, I'd be pretty much guaranteed front rows + good seats for pit right? Assuming their isn't thousands of LPU members going to the concert?
Yes. You will have a good spot. Make sure you use the washroom before and make sure you stay hydrated! I am guessing the pit is the #1 in that link...
Damn that sucks, did you manage to get them? I saw a post on LPU that Mountain View tickets aren't on sale yet?
Yeah I'm planning to go to this show too, hopefully they send an email out with the date the'll be up for presale. I should have bought the San Diego tickets in case, but oh well.
