For me it would have to be the beginning of Burning In The Skies, really interesting kick.. The eargasmic instrumental in Robot Boy, Everything in Waiting For The End, gang vocals in Iridescent, the quote in my sig from The Catalyst.
- The solo in Burning In The Skies - Chester singing in When They Come For Me - The end of Robot Boy - All of Jornada Del Muerto - The end of Waiting For The End - The end of Blackout - Wisdom Justice And Love fading into Iridescent - The entire band singing in Iridescent - The end of The Catalyst
- All of Burning in the Skies. It's such a beautiful ultimate release of the album after the tension-building intros - The Boom Boom in WTCFM at the beginning; the transition with the Muse-like synth to the modified chorus - The moment the synth-solo begins in Robot Boy - The verses in WFTE, which sounds (to me) lke the Beatles - I don't know everytime i hear this, I have to think of Lennon/Mccartney - The Bridge of Blackout - the first verse of Iridescent - pretty much all of the catalyst
- The intro to BITS and the chorus in BITS - Chester singing the ending to WTCFM - The synth solo in Robot Boy - The screaming in Blackout, definitely - ''Filthy animals, beat them low, skin and bone, black and blue, no more this sun shall beat onto you'' from Wretches - The gang vocals in Iridescent - The synth part in TC - The vocals for TM
-The outro to WTCFM -The transition between JDM and WFTE -The second verse and last minute of WFTE -The build-up when Mike starts singing in Blackout -The transition between WJL to Iridescent and the first verse -Once Mike starts singing after the breakdown in The Catalyst -The bridge of the Messenger. The backing vocals, though mixed relatively low, really makes it that much better.
1. The entirety of The Requiem (seriously, how has nobody brought this up yet? Such an EPIC intro) 2. When They Come for Me's insane outro 3. Waiting for the End's final chorus. The chemistry between Mike and Chester here is top fucking notch 4. Blackout. All of it. 5. Iridescent's opening verse and the gang vocals. 6. Fallout into The Catalyst 7. "Lift me up, let me go" 8. The Messenger. Linkin Park NEEDS to release an all-acoustic album from their previous material. LPU12 I'm looking at you. Damn. Looking back on this makes me REALLY appreciate just how good of an album A Thousand Suns was. Living Things has a lot to live (lol) up to.
5. The entire song of the Messenger. 4. Fallout 3. The lift me up, let me go part of the catalyst. That's basically the climax of the whole album. What a perfect buildup. 2. "God bless us everyone" part of the requiem. Gives me chills. 1. The outro of When they come for me. That says all.
- The end of Waiting for the End - Iridescent gang vocal - The Catalyst 'Lift me up, let me go' - the breakdown in Blackout Those are probably the stand out moments, but more or less every track has something in it that makes me go 'damn, that's good...', haha
- The Requiem - When They Come For Me first verse and outro - Robot Boy synth solo - Blackout: Mike's half - Wisdom, Justice, and Love + Iridescent
1. Waiting for the End - ending, Mike & Chester singing together 2. Jornada Del Muerto - Mochiagete Tokihanashite part 3. The Catalyst, when the action begins 4. Blackout, as Chester's voice fades in and he starts yelling. I mean singing. 5. The Requiem
I only liked BITS, WTCFM, WFTE, and Blackout. They all just had a unique sound to me that actually came out as good imo. From the beginning until the end of those songs were my best moments.
1. the whole song of WFTE- one of the best songs they have ever written (mike's best rapping on ATS/MTM also with Blackbirds not included.) 2. MIKE'S PART ON BLACKOUT!- seriously, Mike's voice is so beautiful on this 3. W&K- played this song nearly 200 times in a row from my ipod while playing video games when it first came out. Chester's screams and Mike's rap and the unique sound to it make it just amazing 4. the fact that WFTE, Blackout, and W&K are all next to each other on the tracklist 5. the ahhh's on WTCFM
The intro the the album. The end of Robot Boy. When They Come for Me. The end of The Catalyst. Gang vocals on Irisescent. Mike's part on Blackout.
