Also, I'm highly certain if it were "solved" we would've known when it was posted over 5 hours ago. The band posted to say someone was on the right track, so why would they stay silent if it was right? The generally accepted consensus is that "Living Things" is wrong.

    Alright.

Are we on the thought process that A=1, B=2, etc.? If so, has anyone tried thinking maybe A=26, B=25, etc.? Backwards? Just throwing it out there.

To me it's all about the first numbers for the 5 digit sets. If we can deduce why how they've been calculated then we can go from there

    Sure.

    Basically, ALL of the work we've done so far, stl22, everybody, has been with the assumption that 1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, 4 = D, and so on until 26 = Z.

We tried that in the IRC, it didn't come up with anything that made any more sense than what we already had.

You can use fiddler. Or hit F12 in Chrome.

But I have fully investigated them... and it does not show anything we do not already know.

If you mean anywhere on the internet then .. no.

All we'd have to do is take each letter back one. Doesn't come up with anything particularly sensical either.

Edit: I/We have also tried adding up all the digits, adding both sides and then subtracting them from each other, and subtracting the sides from each other and then adding those digits.

Nothing comes up with a single coherent message.

I put "?" to the unknown numbers. And I know that 9 is equal to I. For the place where I have the 'I' in the top row the numbers for that square on the puzzles page is:
    <!--41602 1589-->

    41602 - 1589 = 40013

Take the 4 and subtract it from the 13 and it yields 9 for the letter 'I'

and my ? marks are pieces of the puzzle we do not have yet which I have placed correctly in my picture. Unknown places are at:

    Row 2:
    Position 1 and 4

    Row 3:
    Position 3

    Row 4:
    Position 2 and 4

Maybe I do not understand you full but I still don't see how Living Thing is eliminated.

Yeah but I have already looked through all the relevant search results on Google. I thought he was talking about everywhere.

Because If a website has disallow all in their robots.txt then google will never crawl it.

So if it is another site we were looking for I bet it utilizes that and google searches will not help.

I was thinking that maybe there are urls that use http://burnitdown.linkinpark.com/ but aren't fully listed in the code. Like for example http://burnitdown.linkinpark.com/#p1 would still open up the page but that full url isn't written in the code
