in the catalyst, mikes vocals is amazing but those vocals were only on 1 song........................ do you think his vocals will be in the 5th album? i think it will please comment
Yes, I do think. As far as I recall, Mike sang a bunch on A Thousand Suns. I'd say it's safe a safe bet that we'll hear him singing again.
I think Mike's voice is a great compliment to Chester's. I don't see a reason why he would quit. bahaha.
They have replaced Mike's vocals with a turtle snapping its shell. Unfortunately, 70% of the fan base could not tell the difference. (I KID! I KID!) I think.
I'm not sure Iridescent is a sad song. To each his own, I suppose, but to me it's about realizing you may have failed, but forgetting that and starting over. Back on topic, though, I think it's interesting how Mike and Chester compliment each other on aggressive tracks. I'd like to see Mike have some "pack-a-punch" raps this time around with some quality lyrics.
If anything, I think Mike will have more involvement than ever on this record. As much as I like Minutes To Midnight, I really don't want a repeat with there being too much Chester and not enough Mike in the 5th album.
Nu-metal is dead but Mike Shinoda still raps, doesnt that meant LP were never nu-metal to begin with?
i would love another album like Minutes to Midnight. Some songs should be rap heavy (like Bleed it Out) while the rest should be Chester heavy. I know ATS was like that but it it was strongly lacking the natural raw guitar sound.
Mike should scream on the new record. You know, if they really want us to hear something different, they should step out of the boundaries. How about the opposite LP sound? Chester rapping and Mike singing the chorus.
Actually, it will be awesome. He can scream(I think), he just doesn't want to show it. And Chester rapping? Maybe... But I think Phoenix and Brad should sing more on the album too.
Actually, he has said that when he tries to scream, he sounds like a girl. So I don't think we'll be getting any Mike screaming. And to be honest, I think I'd be a bit weirded out at the idea of Mike screaming. It just doesn't fit his image.
