That Mark Wakefield got mad when LP became as famous as they are? Additionally, if he never left, do you think LP would be similar to what they are now?
Quite simply, Mark Wakefield has never even been comparable to Chester. He never did anything for me as a musician and because of his voice I haven't really listened to Xero that much. To be honest I don't know much about him at all. I doubt he has any hard feelings aimed at the band though.
One of his primary reasons for leaving the band was that he had really bad stage fright, to the point that he'd physically get sick and puke and stuff before shows. Taking that into consideration, I'd be willing to bet he's almost thankful that LP became famous without him. The guy's made a good career for himself (and managed to stay in the music business in the process) by working at Velvet Hammer, and he's still good friends with the band (they even still thank him in all of their album credits), so I can't see why there'd be any hard feelings there.
Linkin Park is famous for the screams of Chazy the fucker Chaz so shut the fuck up when I'm talking to you !
it'll be cool to see LP collaborate with him as a guest on a future album or so. Kinda like how Foo fighters wrote a song with Nirvana bassist Kirst Novelesc on their last album. Something like that would be really brilliant to see with just Mark contributing something musically for a song or two. "Barack your world" with White pegacorn is about as close as we've got to this so far.
I'd imagine he'd feel a little bad when Hybrid Theory ended up going diamond, but he most likely got over it. From what I hear, he's on good terms with the band.
I hope not because that's a little immature. It's not like he was kicked out. Just gotta own up to your own decisions and learn not to expect that you can predict the future from your standpoint. Nothing to regret, really.
Even if he did stay with the band when they got big he wouldn't have been able to do all the huge venues like Rock AM ring, Project Rev, etc... It would have been interesting if he stayed with the band kinda like Mark Lanagan in Queens of the Stone Age, as the backing vocalist. Imagine Chester AND Mark? that would have been very interesting...
Considering Linkin Park got massive because of Chester, probably not. I know a lot of Linkin Park fans polish Mikes dong as though it were made of gold, but the band would be lucky to be Taproot without Chester. And we all know that's true. Also if he was mad, he got over it by 2008, this was him with Mike.
Eh, I disagree. A good singer is much easier to find than a good songwriter. And while they might not not have been able to find someone at Chester's level, I think they would still be pretty big even with even a mediocre one.
