First of all: I'm not used to write in English, so please be kind! Without Linkin Park I wouldn't be the one I am today. I love myself and I'm happy with my life, thanks to my friends and the people I met through Linkin Park. You know who you are. I experienced so many great and unforgettable things, I can't put it in words.. but thank you Linkin Park, thanks for your music and thanks for being so awesome and friendly to your fans! I'm in the LPU since LPU7 and I never regretted it, since I got a Meet & Greet in 2010. Since I'm being a Linkin Park fan, I got self-confidence. I'm standing for what I'm standing for and I'm proud of myself. When I feel sick or sad, I'm listening to LP or talk to some of my close friends (which I met only because of being a LP fan) and I feel way better. Well, I could write a novel about being a fan, but that's all you have to know - Denise
I started listening to LP when I was struggling with finding out exactly who I was. Lived a very "normal" life, was always the "good girl". Started to feel trapped and smothered by the labels and dreary existance. Was first exposed to LP with some VH1 videos and was blown away by Chesters voice. Then got my grubby paws on Live in Texas. Again, was awestruck. Amazingly, whatever is happening, there is a LP song that fits. Have subsequently gone through divorce, breakups, personal growth and pain. Watching my mom suffer with illness this last year and finally succumbing, Waiting for the End was the expression of some of the feelings going on. Thank you LP for all that you are and LPA for all you do.
Welcome to LPA and you're very welcome . Feel free to introduce yourself in Newbie Camp, and contribute to other threads as well. Hope to see you around!
This is amazing seeing so many people posting their stories here, especially since so many here are posting their very first posts right here. This is absolutely incredible
Kind of thinking I should have went with a complete shortened version of my post. Anyways, this is a great thread. I hope Mike or someone else from the band sees this someday.
Can I just say that I just noticed my post said that I have intent to offend and I really meant I have NO intent to offend. Sorry everybody XD. . . . . unless you thought I was being sarcastic, in that case we'll just go with that lmao
Linkin Park releasing Minutes to Midnight really helped me become more open to other kinds of music that wasn't heavy.
