Ever hear a song and hate it so badly, then a week later you're thinking it's the best thing since sliced bread? My Chemical Romance - Na Na Na Na Na...... Muse - United States of Eurasia Linkin Park - Not Alone
That for me, except all of his singles. They annoy me when I first hear them, and then suddenly they're amazing .
He also excels in hooks in rap songs. His performances on Nothin on You and Lighters is candy to my ears.
Hmm...Knights of Shame by AWOLNATION is probably the most recent one. New Divide was one as well. Love Song by 311. Biggest one was Ashes Divides entire album. Heard it, liked maybe 2-3 songs, one of my favorite albums nowadays.
i know this is old but when I first heard Rhianna's Umbrella I was like WTF? but yeah the song reminds me of my friends and how we'd do anything for each other
Linkin Park - One Step Closer and Fair To Midland - Dance Of The Manatee. Brother introduced me to them, HATED THEM (in retrospect, i'm not sure if I hated the songs or never gave them a chance because it was my brother suggesting them to me?)..... now both been my favorite bands for years.
Surprised to see them mentioned. They put on a great show. It also occurred to me that Pain of Salvation and Fair to Midland fall into the category of stuff I hated but not anymore. Couple of my favorite bands nowadays. I'm terrified to look at the amount of plays I have for Arrows And Anchors by Fair to Midland.
Can I say just about all of A Thousand Suns. I'm not going to say I hated it at first, but it was defiinately one of those 'what the fuck am I listening to' moments. This was all before I was able to digest and appreciate it. Biggest 2 examples here for me was 'Burning In The Skies' and 'Robot Boy.' Now, I'm almost to the point where ATS is my favorite album by Linkin Park, and by that, I mean my favorite album, period. The funny thing is, when it comes to Linkin Park's music, I can't pic a favorite anything, except for the fact that they are my favorite band.
slipknots entire discography XD now I love em' red hot chilli peppers- otherside (they would play it at my last job and I think I was just bitter and everything connected with that job just sucked. I quit, turns out I love it! ) Linkin park- in between
