Is Chivalry Dead?

I still help people whenever I can, hold the doors open (regardless of gender), pick people up if they are hitchhiking (Everytime I've done it people are just grateful for the ride), I've stopped when people's emergency lights are flashing...Chivalry dead? Nah. Hiding perhaps, but not dead. You can't kill an idea. Nazis are still around, Chivalry is as well.

 

It's not dead. It's just uncommon these days.

 

People hardly care for themselves, much less a stranger.

 

If anything it was ruined by parents not teaching their kids that being selfish isn't the right way to be.

 

I don't think its completely dead, there are lots of people still willing to help others

 

When you think about it, it's either dead or every person in this thread is some kind of hypocrite, haha.

 

Well, in order to show some kind of chivalrous action, I helped a guy yesterday push his car out of the road because he ran out of gas.
