Chaz wasn't happy about the fact that crawling got the award then, he said there's songs that is way better than crawling and the other songs didn't win an award....

Oh, lol.

Well, Chaz is just upset that a song that wasn't a total group effort got nominated. He stated his opinion that he felt Meteora was a better album (even though it's really not) and that the other songs (I assume he's talking about the singles) should have been nominated. He had every right to say what he said, whether it's wrong or right. If I was him, I'd be pretty mad as well. If I'm on a football team and only the defense is honored, I'd be pissed that the special teams and offense weren't honored as well. It's like picking out 5 people from a classroom and giving them all $500 and telling the other 30 kids to f*ck off.

 

As much as I love Chester, I'm becoming more and more discouraged with his attitude. Who cares about nominations, if the band likes their own music, that's all that matters. Shut your trap and quit whining. Honestly, I think what he said was a complete insult to Joe.

It's written in the comments about Session in the booklet .

 

i agree with chester bout not getting enuf nominations even though he did sound a bit whiney lol i mean meteora has sold 6 million copies (i think tell me if im wrong) so i think it deserves some credit and somewhere i belong should have been nominated for the rock single the grammys suck only stupid pop ppl who suck win and great bands whos music sells for their music content not their sex appeal! well thats my opinion anyway i hope session wins GO LP

Hey, those 'few minutes of just beats' shouldn't be taken lightly. You act like it's something you could just put together, a song with no words. It sounds like you don't even recognize Session as a song. Songs don't have to have words! Take the many classical songs created by famous composers. Are those just 'a few minutes of just notes' as well?

All the songs on Meteora, and HT as well had plenty of effort put into them. Session as well.

I agree with Chester, in that a song with group effort should have been nominated... but that's just the old farts over at the Grammy's....

It's okay Chaz, there's always next album.

 

I agree, Session is a great track. I just think the whole album deserved some recognition.
