I noticed several members on the LPA are very talented and are awesome with the above title. I have not a clue on how or where to begin to learn. So I ask you, whats some good software for beginners. I dont know where to start. I would like to learn video and photo editing and eventually music production. I figure I might as well get the best out of my Mac. I need some guidance please.

    Thanks

    More Intense Video: Adobe Premeir

    Beginner photo: paint.net
    More intense photo: Adobe Photoshop

    Beginner/Intense Music: Fl Studio

Movie Maker and Paint.net are free, all others can be found with torrents n such. Or you can pay.

I use FL Studio Mobile. I find it easier to work with than FL Studio.

Also, GIMP is a Photoshop-like clone that's free.

For video editing, if I'm not mistaken, there's iMovie for Mac.

No problem, and heck yes use tutorials. People pay money for college classes, all you need is the right youtube videos and you can learn everything you need to know, its a great resource. I recommend anyone before they pay money for a class or pay someone else for the aforementioned services to just Youtube it!

There is that and also iPhoto for photos as well. But I wasn't sure if the software was up to par.
