couldn't find a topic. this project got me intrigued when i first found out about it. followed it ever since and now it is almost there, well in 3 weeks, but still. for anyone unfamiliar with the project: it consists of 9 EP's with each one of them having a different theme color. every ep includes 4 songs that match their respective color musically in a way. there are 4 songs released by now (1 red, 1 black, 1 yellow and 1 white track) but as the album version leaked last night (including 11 songs from all the EP's) i thought about creating this topic. the EP's were recorded across the united states with various producers in various studios. the diversity of the tracks is astonishing AND simply amazing. with 36 songs on the way at once, there comes a certain idea of having a lot of filler songs. but so far, there is not one IMO, and i say that as someone who couldn't really get into any of their past releases. check out the following links to get a PREVIEW of the whole thing: black: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FX3AY8SeUpo violet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK-y0tsLQPQ yellow: http://consequenceofsound.net/2011/05/check-out-the-dear-hunter-shes-always-singing-cos-premiere/ red: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we7UKVbJX_o i highly recommend to have an eye on this ambitious project.
