I'll do it if you don't love me forever and never speak to me again.

    Seriously.

    No, seriously.

I always fancied myself a vocalist. Now perhaps I can be one if my try out goes well. Excited

    Fuckin' Boston won last night.

I hate the Habs, but I hate the Bruins more.

    Buck the Fruins.

Anyone but Detroit. They are my least liked team in all of sports.

The Red Wings are the Yankees of the NHL.

God bless the salary cap, though...did a bit to thin their ranks out a bit.

There's a guy up here that I work with that's a HUGE Wings fan. I want nothing more than to laugh right in his face when they lose

I'm still a Jets fan at heart, though. They're comin' back...mark my words!

Steve Carrell's last episode on The Office tonight, I am actually saddened by this. They should just end the show this season.

Agreed. I don't like Will Ferrel's character at all.

    Just plain agreed.

He's Carrell's temporary replacement - no word on yet if he's doing Season 8. He's definitely doing 4 episodes though, including Carrell's last, and one after that. Apparently, though, there are going to be a few people running for the position in tonight's episode including Ray Romano, Catherine Tate, and Jim Carrey. Ricky Gervais is doing another cameo thing, too, apparently.

I could get behind Jim Carrey doing a TV show like the Office. I'd prefer Will, though, but I haven't seen any of his guest spots yet. Hopefully it's on Netflix already.

No shit right? Never could stomach the Wings... Anyways, quick story about the Blackhawks rally. There was a guy from Winnipeg there wearing a Jets jersey. He wasn't a douche either. He was a cool guy there for the party. He said that he was hoping for a Jets return as well. I told him that if the Coyotes continue their reign of sucktitude, it will happen. I actually hope they come back. Most Arizonians have little to no repect for hockey. All they care about is their beloved baseball. When I was in Tucson last year, I couldn't even get the Hawks take on the Wings in the final game of the regular season at a Buffalo Wild Wings. Which if you're not familiar is more or less a sports bar restaurant chain. I'm all for hockey being where it's appreciated. Those people looked at me like I was an asshole for wearing a hockey jersey and asking them to put it on their TV.

Yeah, I've been to B-dubs for wings a few times. We used to have a run at work to the USA every weekday, where you'd spend the night in Fargo. Did the Blazin' wings thing more than once, until they told me the challenge no longer applied to me (you used to get free food out of the deal, so we hustled them a bunch)

Back on topic: the recession hits, families need to cut some $$$ out of the entertainment budget. If you lived in the southern USA, which would go first...baseball, football, basketball, or hockey? Pretty sure that's a no-brainer.

We lost the Jets because the players were paid in US$, and tickets were collected in CAD$, when the Canadian dollar was 60 cents US. Now that it's pretty much equal, there's 40% we get back, right there.

    Go Jets
