With Iridescent planned as the next single, should this be the last single from ATS or would you like to see the album cycle end on another song? If yes, which song should it be? Of course this is the third US single (fourth including Burning In The Skies released in Europe) and if this is the last single, it marks the shortest amount of singles released from any studio album since Hybrid Theory, which only had four official singles, but also used Points of Authority as promotion for Frat Party. Vote and voice your opinion below.
I abstain from voting because Empty Spaces isn't on the poll. To be perfectly frank though, I don't care as long as - and it shouldn't, logically - interfere with the production of the next album.
By that logic, I guess I should be barred from being a choice for Funniest Member and Most Controversial. BRING IT ON BRITMAN
If it were up to me there would probably only be three or four singles at maximum from every album. But I'd say it's pretty much inevitable that there'll be one more after this, and that it'll most likely be Wretches & Kings.
When They Come For Me. I know it doesn't really fit in with the "story" that the other singles seem to be telling but in my opinion WTCFM is hands down the best song LP have ever made. They should end the ATS single release cycle with a bang and there is no better song to do this than WTCFM. Minus, how about Empty Spaces/WTCFM?
I wouldn't mind another single but realistically with Linkin Park working on new music this could be the last one until next album cycle. If they do go for one more I wouldn't mind Blackout or When They Come For Me.
I know Robot Boy won't be a single most likely and I don't personally think Wretches And Kings could be a single. So I'd "want" blackout...and wait.....WTCFM afterwards making it six singles.
I really want WTCFM to close this cycle of singles. Fucking amazing track. Come on LP, it's the last single. Just say "fuck it", haha.
I find myself torn. I would love if either Blackout or When They Come For Me to be a single, but I voted for Blackout, I like the feel to it a little more and I feel they could do more of an artistic video with Blackout, than they can with When They Come For Me.
Well Iridesent isn't a single from ATS is it. Its from the Transformers soundtrack right? Correct me if im wrong.
It's a single that will promote the film more than "A Thousand Suns", I guess, yeah. But I still think it'll count as an album single, and, if that's the case, they could put out one last single after it. That way, however you look at it, they have either four or five singles from this album. I'll count "Iridescent" as a fourth single, but, then, there aren't many songs to choose from anyway. While five singles is the most they'll be allowed, that's more than half the songs on the album so it doesn't matter to me if there'll be just four and "Iridescent" is the last. I think it'd be a great song to close out an album cycle with.
well they need to go out with a BANG so any of the heavy songs would be great. WTCFM/Blackout/W&K's any of these would be great. I vote W&K as I'd love to see the music vid built around Mario Savio's speech (like at the end of the MOATS DVD) that'll be epic. A music like FM's Petrified mixed with the music vid for Faint would be killer.
