    Congratulations to Linkin Park on being retired on Muchmusic Canada's "Combat Zone"! "Combat Zone" is an hour long show which puts two videos head to head against each other and allows viewers to vote online and over the phone for the video they like the most. The video who gets the most votes is declared a winner and moves on to the next show. In order to be retired on "Combat Zone", you must win thirteen straight shows against various competitors.

    With aid from the "Numb" video, Linkin Park have become only the eleventh band to do this, beating Outkast twice, Blink-182, Missy Elliot, Hillary Duff, Evanescence, Trapt, Nelly, Britney feat Madonna, 3 Doors Down, Chingy, Three Days Grace and Ludacris. This is a big acheivement in Canada so congratulations to LP!

    AWESOME!!!

    i just checked the website cause i mised the show, and i was sooo scared, i saw good charlette as the champian and i thought they beat LP... and then i checked the hall of fame, and they werent there(i guess they havent updated it yet), then i checked lpa headlines... phew...

    Congrats to Linkin Park. I used to have MuchMusic and I would always watch Combat Zone. Ahh, those were the days..lol. Anyway, awesome news! :)

    What channel is MuchMusic and Fuse on? I have TCI Digital Cable. Can I get those channels?

    muchmusic canada, muchmusic US is now called fuse and fuse doesn't have combat zone, i don't think.

    sorry if the title scared you guys. :lol:

    Yes, like some of the others said, the title scared me to death :mellow: But phew... thank god it's not the actual meaning.

    Why would LP even retire? They are a new band, they only have 2 albums (3 if you add Reanimation) But I have to admit the title scared me too.

    Hey congrats to linkin park, im in canda here soo i watched it every week and i missed it and they lost to good charlotte thats sux! :angry: so can i ask you guys a question? is from the inside coming to usa, and canada? or is just goin to the uk? cause i never knew....so if n e of you guys know can you tell me please? thanks alot and rock on L¶

    they didn't lose to good charlotte. when a video is retired it is crowned permanent champion and muchmusic has to choose a new champion and challenger because the video is exempt from any other shows.

    FTI is a UK-only single for now. Chester said he wanted it to come to North America but no one know's if that's a reality.

    the more people say that the more it pisses me off, they need to release another DVD like, now. or maybe in january when breaking the habit is out.

    FTI has also been released in Asia. But only on videos, they don't release singles here *sniff*.

    OOHHH i get it now so, it cant go more then 13 wins? so muchmusic at to choose another video for them? ok thanks alot, and i really want to see FTI alot, it looks like a good video? did any one ever watch it?

    on a postive side .... i guess on behalf of all lp songs its an excellent achievement
