tip 1: the first step to possibly becoming a moderator is not to ask to be one. . you need to be very dedicated and rule-abiding. we've got people here with over 2000 posts who have been hear for months and months and are amazing contributors who are very eligible to become moderators, and obviously they have a better chance than someone who just came. but if you model yourself after the way lots of these people act here then in due time you may have a chance. governing forums these huge can be a tough job.

oh, and another tip: don't double post. lol.
