    Tonight Linkin Park play the final show of the North American leg of the A Thousand Suns World Tour at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX.

    This is the second rescheduled show following on from Dallas, TX yesterday, where the band played the set that opens with Faint after The Requiem and includes Blackout. This set was last seen in full at San Jose, CA on February 22, and in Salt Lake City, UT without Crawling on February 25.

    Tonight support will only come from Paper Tongues, as Circa Survive were only scheduled for the last two dates.

    Which set will Linkin Park close the tour with? Will they do something special for the crowd in Houston tonight? After this show the band have a little over three months break from touring before beginning their Summer Festival Tour beginning in Austria at the Nova Rock Festival on June 11.

    A 3 months break to start working on the next album and ofcourse the TF3 soundtrack :awesome:

    Shinoda should start scoring films. A lot of "A Thousand Suns" is pretty cinematic-sounding stuff. :"

    Weren't they just going to have Iridescent in the movie? I've read it but I don't know how true...

    IIRC someone from this forum asked Mr. Hahn at a M&G and he said it was on the soundtrack. You never know though, LP aims high, it wouldn't surprise me if they just wrote a new song for the movie, hell even an EP.

    First they said they won't be having anything to do with it, then Joe Hahn said at a M&G that Iridescent will be on the soundtrack and some people took that as "confirmation". Chester & Phoenix have both said suggestively that they can't talk about it yet but they will be doing something. Truth is, nobody really knows what the deal is with Linkin Park and Transformers 3, we'll just have to wait until something is officially announced.

    God, I feel so sorry for Houston. I can't imagine a longer set from The Paper Tongues. That singer... he seems very full of himself, and kinda has a weird Lenny Kravitz vibe to him. Not in a good way, considering how 'meh' (that's me being nice in my criticism). I'm pretty sure the 80s called, because it wants its hair back. Unless he's a spokesperson for this product, he had no right to look the way he did:

    Careful Joey would say anything to get out a M&G. He usually be the first to vanish when the M&G is almost finish. He runs when it's all said and done.

    During the LPU M&G in Phoenix and before the band came in, Hugo and Maurice asked us during the triva "which song from ATS will be the next single and the Transformers 3 soundtrack? A girl answered 'Iridescent', and they said 'Yes', and gave her a gift. I thought it was confirmed.

    It more or less is, but nothing is really confirmed until it is officially announced.

    Me and the guys around me really liked them, or at least the sound of the band, I couldnt really hear the singer it just sounded like the was just doing some kind of scream sing?

    It'd be cool to hear some new music, but I don't know if LP would make a new single yet, as it would kind of steal ATS's thunder and the mix up setlists prepared. You never know though :)
