It's official. Mubarak is out of power. For more information, go to CNN.

Your thoughts? What do you think will happen now?

EDIT: I have changed the title to adjust to the new events taking place in the Middle East.

Doesn't seem to me like things will get a hell of a lot better if at all.

Yeah, it'll only get worse for the people when the struggle for power begins.

The army being in control worries me.

But this had to happen, it's gonna be messy for a while but I'm fcking impressed at the way they stood up and made some change. I didn't think a real revolution was possible anymore.

    Me too.

But you're right -- they had to do something. Let's hope for the best.

I'm truly happy for Egypt. :)

For Egyptians: I really admire your courage and you all deserve your freedom. Things what happened to Egypt made me realize of our own battle through Marcos and Arroyo regime. When Bianca Gonzales tweeted that she’s getting goosebumps just watching the crowds cheering in CNN, that’s exactly what I felt. Kudos!

Can't the aliens come back and help them build a solid government just like they helped them build the pyramids?

Pretty late, but I thought it was amazing.

Its good to see people fighting back. All forms of government can learned form this; never oppress the people.
Not to mention, because of Egypt, there are many protest going on in the Middle East.

Egyptians really encourage the people who fight for freedom! It may be messy for a while but it's just the pain you have to suffer in the transition for better. People getting together and fighting for the rights they deserve really impressed me . And I would say all this based on the liberty of speech...

The major protests are actually in north Africa, not Middle East.

    1) You said "The major protests are," which excludes all protests that are over. Rule Egypt out.
    2) Bahrain is just as bad as Libya on certain days, it's just never in the news.
    3) Beaner DID state that thanks to Egypt, a lot of Middle East countries are protesting now. Your attempt at correcting him does not change the fact that what he said is true.
    4) The severity of the protests have nothing to do with his initial statement, either.
