    More complex piano and strings.

If LP can continue to shape the atmospheres of their songs a la BITS then we'll have something stunning on our hands. Writing based on imagery has generated excellent results for them. I'd like them to write with critical environments and events painted through streaming their creativity.

I would wanna hear something like Hybrid Theory and M2M mixed together with ATS.

Like, have a song be kinda soft, but also heavy at the same time.

This. And just more song structure, I loved what they did with ATS, but i don't know about too much lack of structure.

Song structure is overrated. Why does a song have to be verse-chorus-verse-blah-blah-blah? It gets boring real fast. In this aspect though, ATS did not live up to my expectations. They hyped it up to be this crazy structure-less, chorus-less wonderland of an album, and while it's a great improvement it had no chance of living up to the hype imo.

Although it's a bit too early to discuss a 5th album, I'd like to see Linkin Park just continue to push their creative envelope, never be afraid to try things that are different and evolve as a band. As long as they continue to do that and continue to be themselves, the 5th record and future records down the line will benefit from it.

How does a song become structureless lol. Every song will have a definable part.

LP did a great job with mixing it up.

I want to see an album made without anybody else's input but the band's input. No Rick, no Warner. I want to see how that'd turn out.

I'd like to hear aggressive vocals and rapping on top of industrial noise and electronica but with guitar solos. :awesome:

Yeah this was kind of my expectation that was unfulfilled for this album. They need to be listening to more dark ambient/trip-hop/dubstep stuff.

    Other than that.

    Less strings, more brass.
    Less classical, more jaaazzzzz.

To be honest, I would love something symphonic on the next record, not only get some strings, but also get some brass instruments in their too. I would love to see what they could do with that.

    I concur.

I'd honestly also like some featured guests. Something on a studio album and not another Reanimation thing.

Hmm, that would be really interesting, seeing as how Hybrid Theory EP turned out. It would be exciting.

Anyways, I would like to see LP do at least one really heavy song (instrumentally) with melodic singing over the heaviness. It could be really cool.

In general terms, I'd like to hear an album unlike anything they've done before. I'm sure they'll deliver that since they have done that with every album not named Meteora.

No. They had Rick helping them for some reason. They also had a deadline to meet from Warner.
