Simple enough, are you for, or against? Reasons? Advantages and disadvantages? Also, some news http://gizmodo.com/5749968/spray+on-skin-is-a-reality I think that's amazing..
Lol. Wtf? No scarring and completely healed after 4 days? I don't care what we have to do to make stem cell research happen, but we need to do it. Religion acts like it's a taboo. Even some people against abortion are against it somehow. Seriously, this is the next step we need to take to bump up our civilization. Let's do everything it takes. This has been a no-brainer for like 10 years and it's finally catching on.
Definitely for it. I personally don't know of any cons, but if there are any, the pros surely outweigh them.
There are always cons and someone will always try to use something good in bad purposes, but doesn't mean science shouldn't keep moving forward.
Some people take issue to them coming from zygotes. But researchers are supposed to be making progress in getting them from wisdom teeth and umbilical cords and things like that, and if they manage it I don't think there'd be any room for argument, if there was any to begin with. It could be abused, but then most scientific/medical breakthroughs could be. It's a risk worth taking.
I'm fine with it. For all the people who complain about the natural way of life, try saying that that when you're the one with cancer. Although, the ability to control what your baby looks like/can do is what scares me a little. Getting rid of disease/disorders is fine, but that stuff in my opinion shouldn't be messed with.
I wish my parents made me black, I'd be ghetto as hell. Plus, I'd be a couple of inches longer, HIGH FIVE
So why try to improve anything ever? Pretty much every advancement has a negative use for it. Nuclear power, the internet, automobiles, even medicine. They all can have harmful effects on us when used too much or in the wrong way. Nuclear bombs, identity theft, global warming, and drugs all arose from us using these amazing discoveries the wrong way.
I don't think anything that could come from this could be any more dangerous than nuclear weapons, environmental problems, etc.
