Linkin Park have been the confirmed headliner for the Norwegian Hove Festival, which is set to take place from June 28th - July 1st, 2011. It takes place on the Island of Tromøy outside of Arendal and is the largest festival in Norway. The band were originally scheduled to play Norway last in 2003 with a show in Oslo at the Norwegian Wood Festival, but the band had to cancel due to Chester being ill. This marks the first time since then that the band will play Norway. For ticket information and the full festival lineup, check the official Hove Festival Site - HERE. Source: Hove Festival

Haha, congratualtions! I hope you have a great time. Sounds like it's been a long time coming for you!
haha! Thank you! =D I went on one LP-concert last year on the O2 the 10th, but the fact that they're coming to norway is just, "wow!"!! And what's makes it even cooler, is that my stepfather is really into LP too, so the chances of getting in there, is way grander now! =D
I just want to make something very clear in this thread. Over the last 72 hours, we have been tweeted by several people who report that we either stole this from their site, or another site. Its time to put an end to that right now. This news post was submitted to us by a member of our site, meaning we didn't find it on another site nor did we deliberately set out to steal from another fansite without credit. The LPA is a fan operated website that depends on the submissions of fans, in addition to content by its own staff, to be fully updated and informative as possible. Occasionally we will not be the first to post news due to time constraints, but NEVER have we in our almost 10 year history as a fansite, stolen ANY content from another fansite, nor do we plan to start that anytime soon. While certain russian sites feel it alright to steal everything they can, LPA has always had a code of honor and ethics and thus stealing content is not something we practice. If we post a news post, and you feel your site should be credited then just write us. We'll take care of it. Acting like a child and trying to defame the LPA's reputation on twitter isn't going to make us willing to work with you. Professionalism is key, and its sad to see we're one of the few fansites that still believes in that.
