    For anybody who is upset over the lack of Linkin Park, remember that new tracks will be added throughout the year and that it's always likely the band could contribute something new down the line.

    I agree it's dumb to bitch about no Linkin Park. Although I disagree with it being disrespectful if there would have been an LP song.

    I'm not sure why that's a problem. People like Glitch Mob, and now they have even more reason to donate. And if you don't like Glitch Mob, maybe you like a few of the other artists. Off the top of my head there are songs by Thrice, Lupe Fiasco, Metric, Weezer, Peter Gabriel, AAR, Enrique Iglesias... that's a pretty decent variety and that's probably not even half of what's on there.

    See, now, they're doing it right. Rather than offer music for free, they're asking for a small amount of money which is rewarded by a year's access to a list of songs which is steadily added to over the course of the year. :) Donating is, therefore, far more tempting than it was before.

    The problem I see here is he is viewing this as a sale's purchase instead of giving for charity.

    Just donated. Feeling really proud for doing this for a really important cause. Even though I am pleased to have gained these tracks from very talented artist, I'm just more happy to have contributed to this because the people of Haiti need all the help they can get.
