would Have been great for Transformers 3 ? I mean, it does the same kind of job that WID and ND did for 1 and 2, its really kind of a battle or war song and i can definitely see robots fighting and stuff exploding to it, then BOOM credits, and The Catalyst plays. heh, just sayinng, I think it would have made a great addition. thoughtss ?
They are bound to be. OSTs usually have the same kind if not the same bands/artists on them from the previous sequels. Wait. There's a T3 coming?
Not really. The Catalyst or any songs of ATS would be way too intelligent and classy for any piece of trash Transformers movie. Like the other dude said, LP should stay away from it. The only time they should ever be compatible is if Transformers were to get a new director and writer who can put out a movie that i wouldn't be ashamed to mention to my future grandkids that i had the misfortune of seeing at the cinema.
Transformers 1 was like an 8/10, the part two was like a 6/10. If the third one is really good I wouldn't mind an LP song. I just hope they don't make a mess of it.
Transformers 1: 8.5/10 Transformers 2: 9/10 Can't wait for Iridescent in TF3. Though, as the original question asks, The Catalyst would be fucking sweet in a Transformers movie.
I have to say one of my guilty pleasures is Michael Bay's TF movies. But sometimes I wish Bay hadn't touched them. I'm a long time Transfan, and I sometimes get the feeling people bash the films for the sake of Bay more than anything else. The Transformers is an excellent franchisee that I grew up with and I get a little pissed a people for bad mouthing it
I'm taking a wild guess with Burning in the Skies being a single for Europe then Iridecent will be the next single here in the states sometime in the spring or earlier summer. I don't see LP waiting for the movie to come out just to make a Transformers themed music video for the song. In other words the song will just be part of the soundtrack like What I've Done. It's just a guess but I say I'm 95% right.
You don't understand. Iridescent will be in Transformers 3. Joe Hahn told me and Zane personally at our meet and greet. I wasn't joking.
Transformers 1 was an arguably exceptional film. Transformers 2 was a terribly convoluted film, but it is a visual spectacle.
TC is already featured in the Gundam game, right? Looks like no matter how much LP evolves, somehow people still associate them with giant robots. I blame Reanimation
This. T1 - somewhat entertaining with some good visual effects. T2 - a clusterfuck of a movie. Just horrible.
