Preview of the music from the game released. (This is not the main theme like the video suggests) New information on a lead character (Conrad Roth): http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2010/12/15/character-profile_3a00_-conrad-roth.aspx
Aleksandar Dimitrijevic has been confirmed as the composer for the game. Incase that name doesn't ring a bell, the company he works for has been given full or partial credit for scoring for the following movies: http://www.aleksandardimitrijevic.com/ The music in this game is going to be fucking huge. Keeping up with updates, new screens are out: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2010/12/30/tomb-raider-bonus-gallery.aspx Be sure to "view image" on every gallery pic as they are in high res. Game looks fantastic despite being in beta still. When a game looks better than 80% of games out there right now in its BETA stage, you know its gonna be visually a stunner.
I'm more interested in gameplay mechanics rather than the graphics. Sounds good so far, definitely going to try it out.
Small update: The team behind the Advent Children CGI (VisualWorks) will be making all of the cinematics for this game, and the man who did the menu system for Bayonetta, will be making the menus for this game. Nothing big, but interesting none the less.
Nice updates. Game is definitely looking good. I can see why they went with the guy who did Bayonetta's menus, hopefully he's the guy who did the inventory and whatnot because those were fantastic for managing many weapons/items.
Definitely will. Crystal Dynamics have shown that when they take creative freedom with the brand (Guardian Of Light), they can make one hell of a game so the fact they're rebooting the series in their own vision is promising. Glad to see some others excited for updates. We should have a trailer within the new few months.
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/featu...raider.aspx?CommentPosted=true#commentmessage HUGE update: Making of the Game Informer Cover. It's been confirmed that the Lara we see on the cover is the Lara that VisualWorks made for Crystal. Not ingame Lara, but likely the same model used in the FMVs. Damn. Person who made the cover said it was likely the most detailed 3D model he's ever seen.
