I thought might ravamp the idea of LP covering songs. So here's my inconclusive list: 1. Zombie - The Cranberries 2. Judith - A Perfect Circle 3. Follow Me - Pain
Hikaru Utada (宇多田 ヒカル) - First Love Rie Fu - Life is Like a Boat The Beatles - Let it be Blink 182 - Dammit (rapping the verses) The Ravonettes - Last Dance Nine Inch Nails - Echoplex The Shins - Pink Bullets. And that's about it as far as popular artist go. I'll probably post something more diverse later.
Maggie's Farm - Rage Against The Machine Mind's Eye - Wolfmother (would love to hear chester sing this) I Love College - Asher Roth
I can imagine chester rapping that part, and then the whole bandn singing the chorus along with mike. XD
Simple man - Shinedown style Queen - Bohemien Rapsody Journey - Dont stop believing Green Day - Jesus of Suburbia Tenacious D - Fuck Her Gently I could do this all night
In my twisted mind, I think a "Fuck You" cover by Cee-Lo would be THE SHIT! But let's see, what else... -"Hotel California" - EAGLES -"Love Hurts" - Incubus -"Venus vs Mars" - Jay-Z (I don't necessarily want to see them cover it, but I'd like them to do something with this beat and have Mike rap new lyrics) -"Starlight" - Muse -"Re-Education (Through Labor)" and "Prayer of the Refugee" - Rise Against -"Here I Come" - The Roots -"Goin' Down" - Three Days Grace
I'm liking most of the suggestions in this thread guys! a lot of great songs that'll would be perfect for LP. I hope the guys read this ang get some ideas! heres my suggestions: "Broken Down" - Sevendust - mainly cause it sounds alot like "numb" what with the same MPC pad. A good hark back to the old nu metal days. "Forty Six & 2" - Tool - The riff screams brad. I can totally see the band doing anything written by Maynard James keenan. Particualy this song. "clint Eastwood" - Gorillaz - This would be epic if LP put their own spin on it. Maybe mike could rap his own lyrics in the verses.
