    As we had announced previously this year, The Linkin Park Association and Keaton Hashimoto are hard at work in creating the first ever full-length Linkin Park fan made video game, set for release sometime early next year.

    Many of you have emailed us and asked us for more information concerning this game, and we're very happy to announce that we are getting closer to the release of LPAMAN & The Missing Phoenix! The majority of the game is now finished and to celebrate, Keaton has created a spiffy retro trailer to hype up the game, and showcase some much requested gameplay and scenery from the LPA's first ever full length video game!

    We are very excited to share this game with the world, but before that time comes we must finalize the game completely and then go through rigorous beta testing to ensure it is the best it can be.

    Funny thing is, Keaton originally had level 1 as mean as that :lol:. He's a big fan of IWBTG if thats any clue.

    Oh, it's meaner than you think. Level 1 I mean. That guy has played level 1 before so that's someone playing with EXPERIENCE. Just imagine the Bowser fight in Super Mario World, but either Bowser is completely invisible or there are ghosts flying around everywhere. Oh yeah, and you're underwater. Kaizo sets the bar for stupid-difficult ROM hacks. It's so amazing. :lol:

    Yeah I'm a fan of masochistic games like the Kaizo hacks and IWBTG games. I am absolutely terrible at all of them though. The difficulty isn't as extreme as those games, but I like to think it's still got a pretty good sense of difficulty. :lol:

    I truly feel this looks better then 8-Bit Revolution, and thats saying quite a lot. IF any official tried to stop the release of this, I'd highly recommend them understanding the potential advertisement an enjoyable actual 8-Bit game could actually be for them. Even the early screenshots looked enticing. Absolutely looking forward to this.

    The trailer music is from the 3D Dot Game Heroes soundtrack. A game I highly recommend! :)

    We would LOVE to have this be iPod Touch/iPad/Mac compatible but it's not foreseeable due to the engine (it's out of our hands). If anybody here is experienced in coding games for mac/iPod Touch, then write us lol. Perhaps we can get this baby ported.
